We enjoyed sunny blue skies for another leisurely day on the river. We floated past numerous ancient lava flows and marveled at the variety of shapes formed by the cooling basalt. We took a short hike up to a slot canyon at 193 Mile Creek and then continued downstream in the glorious sunshine, finally getting to use the sun hats and hoodies that had been packed away most of the trip. Unfortunately for the crew, we had a stiff head wind for the last few miles, so they got a workout before we stopped at 202 Mile Camp.
- Girl power! Joelle and Ashley working together to fight the wind.
