Day 3: Redwall Cavern and Rain

It rained overnight, but on Day 3 we woke to what seemed to be clearing skies, so we were optimistic that Hurricane Rosa had passed us by (ha!).  After a short row downstream, we stopped at South Canyon for a hike to see some petroglyphs and a climb to the top of the Redwall limestone.  When we continued downstream, it started to sprinkle, but we soon stopped out of the rain at the impressive Redwall Cavern.  As we left the cavern, it started to rain for real, but our reward was that we got to see Marble Canyon in the fog and mist, which is something quite rare.  We had to set up camp at Eminence in the rain, but were further rewarded when the sun and waterfalls came out just before dinner.
